BGR thinks October 25 which is consistent with what many of us reported on the various BB news sites. I suspect this product will be far superior to its predecessor.

Yeah that's what I'm hoping. I never really hear anything good about the original Storm.

Several reviews on the pre release. I think the roll out will be similiar to the Tour. The key is how the hardware responds to the OS.

From what I've seen of it (not much, i'm more into the 9700 right now) it looks great. And all the early reviews I've skimmed over say it will be so much better than the previous.

i love my storm and im hoping that this will be the end for my as far as waffleing over a phone.....does anyone have a forsure on WIFI ability i have heard yes and yet verizon keeps telling me that because they require a data service with these there will be non and the bb's that have it will be disabled and only unlockable to ""administration personell"""

Im sure it will be. I know someone who's used it and they say the keypad is much smoother than the original.
