No rumours on a CDMA 8900.
The next verizon will be the Storm 2 I think.
The 8530 Aries is also rumoured to be coming, as well as a Tour with wi-fi.

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

The 8530 will be the closest item to the 89xx model.

I wonder what the ultimate goal of the 8900 was?

Supposedly it was a Curve replacement but yet we have a Curve 2 85xx. Another low-end device?

For the first time I feel the future might hold something different for me. It's possible I'm fooling myself but I'm willing to take the risk.

The ultimate goal seemed to be to introduce a premium product for their most popular form factor, it was clearly intended to provide an upgrade for those that wanted it without also trying to replace the 83xx for everyone, which is a role that the 8520 is far better suited to do.

To move from a Tour to the 8530 seems almost backwards, or lateral at best?
I would hope a Tour 2 (with WiFi???) would come out in the future. 3G, GPS, AND WiFi would rawk

*sigh* I want a Verizon version of the 8900. Or a tour with the Curve keyboard. Those square keys are all kinds of HATE for me. I have a friend who has the T-mobile 8900 and it really is a sweet phone. Why did RIM have to go and have 2 different keyboards when they always had the separate keys???

On the prowl for my next Blackberry... currently with a Verizon Curve
