Our we talking about the same thing? My take is BIS folks able to sync to a cloud like BES, only free, and not having to be on BES. I don't know anything about BES, but it sounds like, if true, a mobileme/google sync type program for BB BIS users. Something sorely needed to compete with the companies offering those features on their phones. Again, not knowledgeable on these things, I may have totally misunderstood.

This sucks for BIS "Individuals" and if the new webkit browser and flash don't come this year I may move on. I hate the calendars on other phones compared to BB, but miss the other pluses. Maybe Apple and Google need to make a more business oriented user friendly calendar.

Does anyone know more about this "BlackBerry shield", did they say more at the conference?
