Ok I've seen the threads in the storm forum already so I know the current units can run on AT&T's network after being unlocked but I'm waiting on an official one that AT&T will have so I don't have to buy one that'll need to be unlocked. Has anyone heard anything? I would like to think since I see alot of BB models on all the major carriers it would make an appearance eventually. Any thoughts on it? Or is it a pipe dream? I am used to touch screens already but I'm wanting a Blackberry that'll have it on my carrier so I don't have to miss the 3G speeds. I'm tired of 2G already.:razz:;-):bb:

Both the 9000 and 9700 operate at 3G speed on ATT.

But is your question actually when, if ever, will ATT get a touch screen BB similar to the Storm? Maybe the Storm 3? Find out at WES 2010 in April, maybe.

I haven't heard of a touch screen coming to the GSM world in the US, but there are always rumors of one.

Yeah I really like the storm 2 I've been thinking about getting it but I'm on AT&T and don't want to switch carriers. As I have a 2G Iphone it's ok but I like the Blackberry line just a bit better. Thanks for your reply.

There was a post indicating that Verizon is dropping the Storm 2. I'd love to get a Storm 2 on AT&T. I didn't understand the first response regarding touch screen and GSM - is there an issue there? Or are you simply stating that a Storm 2 is not available on AT&T (I ask because the iPhone is and it's touch screen on GSM - isn't it?).

If anyone has any info on the Storm 2 (or 3) coming to AT&T, please pass it on.

I think Verizon is dropping the Storm. The new Tour is on the way between now and whenever (May perhaps?).

Get a unlocked 9520 Storm 2.
Its 3G, and will work on at&t's 3G bands.
