| April 3rd - TMobile 8700c Please Login to Remove! I work for a large corporation that has several hundred T-Mobile BB's in use. Just got this email from our account rep and I quote:
"--FYI: Blackberry 8700 will be available April 3rd. Starting price looks to be at $299 or $349 to start. I will have more information on Friday"
Take it for what its worth. When its sent to me and I have it in hand, then I'll finally beleive him. | | Offline

| They said April 10th is the Launch date but they usually don't have them until 1 or 2 weeks later
It does not belong for 8700c. I am confused. NJBlackberry what up? When other thread ws closed, I post new thread that first post was mine. not this. NJB what's wrong with you?

| As I posted elsewhere, I had a co-worker who ordered today from ushopwireless to take advantage of their preorder $99 deal. The salesperson told her that she should have the handheld by Friday of next week.
I laughed at first and told her not to hold her breath. If he was basing his prediction to her on this April 3rd date, then it makes more sense. Even then, I would imagine the April 3rd release date would be for corporate users and it would still be a week or so before it would trickle down to consumer purchases.
I tend to agree with disp350. With so many dates being tossed around, I won't believe any date until I have the device in my hands. | | Offline

| Speaking of the T-Mobile 8700 - I thought it was "8700g" for T-Mobile. And speaking of THAT, why isn't it going to be the 8700T like it is for the 7100T? | | Offline

| spoke to my rep today (we do a bit more than $25K/mo in business with TMO) and he said that they would NOT be available for sale to corporate customers or consumers before April 17 - no ifs, ands or buts.

| I just talked to a T-Mobile rep today and asked her about it, she "looked it up" and said that they showed an availability date of April 15. It was still uncertain if the phone would be eligable as an upgrade, but that's the news I got.
I can't friggen wait. My 7100t is just a piece of junk now. Staticy calls, disconnects on dialing out, volume sticks... I WANT MY 8700! | | Offline

| April 15 = Saturday ... very unlikely they will launch or ship devices on a Saturday. Stick to the following Monday.

| My compnany does $64,000,000,000/month of business with T-Mobile. AND, my account rep, who happens to be the CEO of the company and reports directly to the United Nations, said that the 8700 is already out and available to world leaders, but will not be available to business customers until 2011 and then to consumers two weeks thereafter. The device must be approved and declassified by the US government for civilian use before we will see it in the states... Something having to do with the Patriot Act. | | Offline

| Seriously only 25k/month. Aaron Pauls company does 64 billion a month. How can you get that information spending that little

| I was talking to my reps sisters boyfriends mother who lives next to this guy who works for a lady who is dating Jim Bastilles gardners uncle...and she says the 7290 still works pretty well and the.
I predict a second quarter release date...And FWIW I spen $79.00 on average a month wiht T-Mo.
We have all waited this long wats a few more days/weeks give or take. April has 30 days and one of them will fufill our dreams...for at least a week, then we'll all want the 3G version or updgrade and we start this all over again.
I love you all.

| I was talking to Hyper (who is mad at me because I close his repetitive and redundant threads - hey, I don't close them all, other mods are interested too) and he told me that he spoke to someone who knows someone who thinks they have a BlackBerry and they told me that the 8700g came out last year. At least I think that's what he said.
So, how about that 8707, eh? | | Offline
