i was on a flight on friday and sat next to a very nice woman who was a PR person over at Palm. after a great deal of talking, i asked if Palm and RIM were merging. she said they had a meeting a couple days earlier and were told that it was NOT happening and just a rumor. just passing on what i heard.

Like a Palm handheld, did you have to keep rebooting the woman to get tha answer out of her!?!?!?!?!

Depends what they do with the OS, they could endup with something stable and with a whole tone of freeware libraries behind it :D
