Default BLuetooth Modem Script - 08-07-2006, 04:55 PM

I just heard that there was a script available to allow bluetooth connection using the 8700 as a modem? I searched bluetooth Modem Script and found nothing though. Is this true?

I don't think you missed anything. The Beta vesion of SharkModem simply allows you to use the BlackBerry as a modem via BlueTooth instead of the normal tethered connection.

Then I will check it out. No where in the thread, or on thier website, does it mention usuing BT, while countless contacts with RIM specifically said that DUN is NOT possible over BT.

Time to contact Mobishark.

Thanks,
Michael

The update info was buried in the thread at post 150. This is the correct LINK.

Ahhhh, thanks. I guess they recently announced a version two beta testing, with BT connection. Hopefully I can get in even though I am using BIS and not BES.

We'll see what happens.
