Default Blackberry maps..

Please Login to Remove!

In rumour mill until we have an answer (or firm info on release)

So.. where is it, and when will it be released to everyone?

Any brave souls who can use javaloader to download the .COD files and share it for the rest of us? =)

Note: people with the Pearl should have it.. but hopefully you pull your copy from the retail version. =)

Further thoughts indicate this will come out in OS 4.2 for many devices in the near future. Anyone can confirm this?

Not sure what feature is refered to here, but Google mobile already supports many BB models. Maps, directorions and even satellite images can be obtianed. Obviously the limitation here is the network speed, which makes Google Maps on BB painful sometimes.

Blackberry maps -- the RIM version. Integrates into the address book..

Google maps also consumes a boatload of data. I can only suspect the RIM solution is data minimalized.

I'm waiting with bated breath for the expanded release of the RIM solution =)
