I call BS on this one. Doesn't seem feasable or smart for RIM to me to approach the touchscreen world so soon.

Not to mention, it looks horribly photoshopped.

What 646 area code?, and if it IS real, whoever RIM contracted to mold those cases should be fired. The bottom left corner is horribly uneven from the rest of the device. Also not going to get far with only a '0' key and what looks like a 'CAP' key.

There were two reasons why I never used my old PDA and never bought a new one:

1. I hated carrying an extra device
2. I hated using a stylus.

Both were very important but the stylus issue was paramount, I don't understand how anybody can seriously consider using a stylus to be a reasonable way to input text. Even with real practice at character recognition I doubt anybody could come close to the speed of a BB keyboard. My cassiopea e-125 had a touch keyboard I could enable but it always clogged the screen and caused problems, plus I could only use one hand to hit those keys because of the stylus. Maybe I'm just jaded but I think the stylus is a counter-intuitive input device, like the modern laptop touchpad.

Anyway, stepping down from my soapbox, the BB keyboard is my new best friend. I'm a pretty fast typer normally and it translates well to the BB keyboard. I'm sure Rehjon blows me away and will continue to once I have more practice, but I am happy with the speed that I can type at. Finally I can take notes in meetings or any number of other things that were never really workable with a stylus based PDA. So what I'm trying to say is... I don't see the point of making a stylus based BB, that's like taking your Mustang and dropping in the top of the line Focus engine in it. It's shiny and all but it's still 2 cylinders and 2.3 liters short of what you already had.

hahah...you are all so gulible (sp?)...

It's so obvious it's photochopped...looks like a PocketPC with the trademark blackberry screen frame and a screen.

Funny but no where near true.

I couldnt agree more. I sure home RIM doesnt go to the touch screen. I love the external full keyboard. I think that is what seperates my love for blackberries apart from everything else (and how awesome the email and SMS is ). A stylus is horrible and as someone in the forum mentioned before, it takes a lot more time to correct a simple mistake with one. If any RIM people ever read this, PLEASE KEEP THE KEYBOARD LIKE ON MY 7230!!!

very bad photochop. They didnt even bother joining the screen properly. Instead they used dodgy blurring.

To heck with the photoshop, the design is just plain wrong. It looks like some old bad sci-fi movie prop. I for one want the last 3 minutes of my life back that I just wasted reading this post.

I agree with the problems with a touchscreen. I used the 6315 for a while, and hated the fact that the touch screen made doing anything a 2 handed operation (not cool while driving). I love the 7100t (don't flame me). I have gotten used to suretype and not type pretty fast with almost no errors.

I agree touch screen would be a step backwards unless it was just for icons then it might be ok but I love the keyboard on the BB. I threw my palm as far as i could when i finally switched over to my BB now I am a crackberry addict.

Check the date that photo was posted. I am betting it was on April 1.

Seriously, I use a Pocket PC and a Blackberry. One of the big advantages of the Blackberry, in my opinion, is the ability to use it without a stylus. If I need some info (address book, for example) that is on both my PPC and Blackberry, I will always reach for my 'berry.

Default Remember the Apple pda?

This looks awfully similar to the purported Apple PDA photoshopped thing that was out a long while ago.
