Is the pearl 2 the 8800. Went to rogers to but the pearl and they told me to wait until Jan, cause the will be releasing the pearl 2

Whats the pearl 2

Never heard anyone refer to the 8800 as the Pearl 2 before. I doubt that this is the case anyway. The 8800 is a replacement to the 8700 series, not the Pearl.

me thinks your Rogers store had too much liquor that day... my TMO rep, who has some of the largest accounts in the SE USA, didn't know the 8100 was the Pearl, even the week of it's release. he specifically stated that the name of the new BlackBerry was not 'Pearl' around two days prior to its availabilty. in other words, sometimes people just aren't in the know. while the 8800 (Indigo, specifically) has a lot of shared character traits with the Pearl, it's not to be named the Pearl 2, Pearl Deux, Pearl: The Sequal, Uno Dos Pearlos, or anything similar...

Exactly what I was thinking. The film would be 3 seconds long though as Chuck Norris can kill anything just by looking at it, even if it's not alive in the first place.

I've actually seen him hold the Pearl 2 in his hand, it melted into a molton lava as soon as he touched it. He then took this lava and drank it. It was quite an amazing sight.

Yes, I've heard this story. What most people don't know though is that afterwards, he crapped out a perfectly formed old 7280.
