Just tried it out. I'm a Bell customer (not sure if it makes a diff) but this allows me to download a crappy looking video file (NOT STREAM!) to my BlackBerry and play it back. And the play back is choppy on my 8703e. Over all - not impressed.

Do Rogers customers get actual streaming? Does it seem smooth over EDGE?

per my post it doesn't stream over my connection.... just wondering if it did /w a Rogers BlackBerry. I realize EDGE has a lower throughput than EVDO

it a cool app (y)
got it working on my 7130e

blackspawn 01-28-2007 03:08 AM

Just downloaded this program. The play back is a bit choppy on my 8703e as well. I'm on the Telus network. Program is average, but i believe it can be better. Live stream would be cool, if they were to offer that.

BBRob 01-29-2007 01:01 PM

I have an 8703e. Is there a program out there that I can download to views videos on my device?

Thanks!

kenotic 02-01-2007 10:35 AM

The real answer would be if Sling would get off there butts and give us a slingplayer for BB.

meatnpotatoz 02-01-2007 06:05 PM

that would be nice but we would have to wait until the 3g blackberries are released for it to be any use.
