sources tell me to be on the watch for an update to original pearl in mid march.

it is gsm, and will have all the kinks out of it, the ones the tmobile and cigular releases have had.

I would intepret this as he means there's a new Pearl OS being released in March because I can't think of any hardware-related "kinks" with my Cingular 8100.

has anyone read anything on this subject? trackwheel issues, loose keypad, etc. lets see who is right in 30 days. until then.....

BTW - no way has said that some Pearls had problems. Just that no one has heard about a "fixed" model.
