Anyone hear anything about Cingular getting the 8830 or something like it? I have the 8700c and the 8800 and would love to have the 8830. I see it with Verizon and I understand it has 3G with them. I want it with 3G on cingular.

8830 is a CDMA device (primarily anyway) and that's the only network its 3G EVDO will work on. Cingular is a GSM network and uses an HSDPA 3G network. The two are not compatible with one another.
The 8800 is the GSM equivalent of the 8830. There is currently no HSDPA BlackBerry either released or in the foreseeable future.

I thank you very much for that info. I have been wondering for two weeks now weather or not I wanted to keep this 8800 or send it back before my trial period expired. Now I have more to think about but with less mystery involved; do I want to switch to Verizon? How important is the G3 feature to me? What are Verizon fees compared to Cingular? Back to work....
