| New Curve with the works by end of year Please Login to Remove! I spoke with my contact at Rim yesterday. He stated a gsm curve with wifi, gps and camera will be out by the end of the year. He could not disclose the carrier due to NDA. I tend to trust him more than the csr's at the carriers. | | Offline

| I got 10 delivered this morning, and 15 yesterday :D
My contact also said that there is a curve sized device coming out within the next 4-5 months with GPS, WiFi and Camera, based similar to the Curve but possibly slightly larger in dimensions. | | Offline

| RIM plans Wi-Fi BlackBerry - Yahoo! News
"Research In Motion expects to start selling a BlackBerry with both cellular and Wi-Fi wireless capabilities, the company's CEO said Thursday."
Confirmed! Well atleast the WI-FI and date range, not confirming the model.

I'd love it if this turned out to be the 8330e.

| I know this is rumored for T-Mobile (WiFi Blackberry). Assuming you unlocked it, is there any reason you couldn't use it on AT&T?
I know that T-Mobile will be charging a monthly fee for the ability to use the WiFi for calls, but could you use an unlocked phone with Skype or similar software? | | Offline

That looks like the dream curve device but does it have all the goodies included?
That is the real question!

| It's wont be a whole new device! It's the whole baby bear, mamma bear, poppa bear break down that BG spoke about a couple of months ago. I'm just guessing here, but the baby bear is probably the Curve that's out now! Next will be the mamma bear on Tmobile with wifi and a camera. And then the poppa bear will probably be loaded with the works! At this point there's no way to know what carrier will pick it up (if this speculation even holds up). Who knows, famous waiting game as usual! Luv my Curve by the way. | | Offline

| I really hope the new Curve comes to Verizon. I like my 8703 but am ready for an upgrade. I was going to upgrade to the 8830 until all the issues started coming out. I've had my deal with issues when I made the mistake of buying a Treo two years ago. Not going to go through all that again.
What's the likelihood that Verizon will get the CDMA version of the Curve.....if it ever comes out? | | Offline
