It will probably look like the regular Pearl, except it will have Verizon and Sprint branding on it.

What is this? SPAM? Your links have no pictures of the Pearl 2.

I know there's already pictures out there about Pearl 2 but I don't remember where it is at.

Every article and blog mentioning the Pearl 2 that I have seen has said it will be CDMA. I haven't seen one mentioning Tmobile.

Depending on the version, I fully expect T-Mobile to carry the 8120 (WiFi) and AT&T to get the 8110 (GPS) with Verizon and Sprint likely sharing the 8130 at some point. I've heard time frames from September to December with no specifics on carriers or devices.

For data, yes. For voice, only if you're on TMO US (or another carrier that offers UMA/GAN functionality, although there is no one else at this point, to my knowledge).

Considering all this info is coming from Blogs, not official channels, its all speculation I guess.

considering the unofficial information coming from those blogs are coming from official sources, albeit not published official sources, i would think they'll prove to be fairly reliable

And your actually thinking Verizon will get something early or with everyone else? They will get it late ... usually 6 months to a year late. And when it does come, it will be hobbled for one reason or another so you don't get choices if its a Verizon phone.

Pearl 2 is GSM ... its not coming to Verizon yet. Rumor has it that it is AT&T first, them T-Mo.

History and Verizon track record tells me that they will not get it first. Track record tells me that they will be last to get it. Although, I do admit the 8830 came more quickly than the 6 months to a year late. Maybe they will be getting devices sooner now .... but I seriously doubt first. And I seriously doubt unhobbled.

I know that what anyone says at this point is speculation (as we all do), but i really really really doubt it would go to CDMA first, esp Sprint. Just doesn’t make sense at all. With GSM blackberry can just rebrand the phone, and sell it world wide, which is why all of there phones are GSM to begin with. Theres really no compelling reason for it to go sprint anyway.

Maybe not Sprint, but there are a hell of a lot of Verizon users in this country who would flock to this phone.

Enough to make it profitable. Hell the 8830 for Sprint is so popular, most stores don't even have them.

The black has been spotted as well. No info on which specific colors each carriers will be offering, though.

I'm willing to BET that Gold on both the 8320 & 8120 WiFi BB's (Curve & Pearl wifi variants; respectively) are going for TMobile. Maybe even a same month launch ?!

Double WHAMI stylee.

its okay to be a baller, shockalla!

Either way its tantalizing.

I'm just PEEVED at marketing strategy to not include GPS. I wanna install that new app in beta Blip but I don't think it'll work with a BT-GPS puck. :(

Looking for that perfect signature, hmm.
