He's talking about the fact that Telus FINALLY released an uncrippled version of the internet browser. Until now they used a modified version that only supported WAP stuff. You could not change most of the options in the thing. It did not support full html pages, and any site or file over 4kb in size per screen would not load. As a result you could not do OTA installs or download most ringtones or wallpapers.

If you go options>host routing table> register now, you will get a new service book sent to your device. This is the UNCRIPPLED version of the blackberry browser. It has no limitations.

Sorry, ck your correct.

For those of us that do not have no BES, this enables us to have the second browser...

jpar.... you can also resend your service book from the webclient. Under Profile goto Send Internet Service Book.

You also might need to upgrade the software on your handheld. What version are you currently running?

I am surprised anyone in their right mind would have a telus bb.

New customers on blackberrys will now be charged a $10 "email redirection fee" for the blackbery service....this is in addition to the plan and regular data network charges. They also made the plans more expensive. The old $85 for unlimited blackberry + 350 daytime minutes + unlimited nights/weekends, etc is now $90. With that $10 fee, it's now $100.

So we have

$60 activation fee

$90 MSF

$10 Monthly “Email Redirection Fee”

$60 Yearly “Data Network Charge”

"Evenings" now start at 9pm. If you want to extend your evenings and weekends to start from 6pm, it's now $7 instead of $5

Thats not just highway robbery, Dawg, they got left on the side of the road too. Nextel would be stupid to try a stunt like that!
