Wifi is much faster than EVDO, and it does something EVDO cannot. When I am at work (or home), I can connect to my internal Linux servers using SSH. I do not make those servers available from the outside world. If your a member of a business, you can use it to access internal intra net sites. Streaming multimedia is much better on Wifi than with EVDO.

There are many reasons to like wifi over EVDO. Just because YOU personally, will not take advantage of it, does not make it useless (I have heard others here say that about wifi ... not pointing fingers at you though). Just realize you dont need it, and be happy. Others like me, can do way more with wifi than you can ever do with EVDO because I have to manage a local network in my classroom.

I Left Verizon, and went to ATT using the new iPhone, and I'm quite happy with it. The WiFi works awesome, as well as the entire device!!
