Thanks Rambo47, my friend has a great android and I think that is the way I'll go. Not on a plan at all and overseas so getting plan is just not practical.

The androids are faster on the net, and in general and reliably get online too.
Judging from the hundreds of similar posts to mine many people are having trouble.

Was on wifi without data plan bf so seemed logical. Hoped someone could help.

I have the answer, bin the blackberry and get a decent phone! Guess this is y they r becoming so unpopular.

Hi I have tried changing browser and general options to wifi hotspot and it will only connect to net using network. I can search for wifi it says it connects but does not redirect to browser or ask...

OK. Just seems crazy to pave to pay for free wifi. I don't know if roaming net or data plan will cost more.
I think I will throw this phone away and get something android that will work. Will recc...

I selected hotspot browser in browser and in options, still no joy.
Also inserted different sim and no luck
Other ideas? Did I do that correctly?

Aiharkness I am not sure how to get to the login bookmark.. Been playing with options. Any ideas?
I don't have a data plan and am using same sim. Would not have got a phone that makes me pay...

On same sim, has worked OS first few days now not at all. Didn't know I would need a data...

In the past after getting on wifi the bb would redirect me to a browser or the security page once I was connected, now it says I am connected but will not redirect me and I cannot actually get on the...
