what happened is that I downloaded the development tools and wiped it in preparation to put tmobile SW on it.

after that didnt work, I downloaded this and here it sits with no phone icon.

I loaded up the most recent load .456 i think(I downloaded it from the cingular website), and the phone icon is NOT on my screen anyone have any ideas what i screwed up??

I would think that someone would have to clone...

I would think that someone would have to clone your SIM card and the IMEI would not be of any consequence..
