Sorted - I had a daredevil moment after I discovered the backup function in the Desktop Manager and wiped the BB. Hopefully I won't have the sync problem any more.

Nope, it's not possible with this model. A real annoyance as I miss calls, but you learn to live with it. I have set it to vibrate twice and then start ringing which is as good as it gets.
