yeah my 8310 did the same thing. new battery fixxed it. word of advice, do not buy a generic or "oem" battery off EBAY. spend the 30-40 bucks for a new oem battery @ a local retailer or ask on here...

Bad battery? Bad unit?

I bought a battery off ebay, it was no good. It was the oem C-H2 extended life battery. when i put it in my phone I got a long red led and then the battery with a slash symbol came on the lcd....
