I had the same EXACT problem, what I did was backup all info on pc, did a hard reset and so far so good.
I'm guessing if problem persists you might have to swap it...

Yeah I've also been taken back w/ how fast this forum is on my BB, especially using EDGE cause EDGE really isn't that fast compared to EVDO for example.
