well it is activated, wiping the memory did have an effect because in one of the steps it tells you to go to your browser and go to your bookmarks. And since I dont have any bookmarks i cant go to...

Hey, I just bought a BB 8830 off of ebay and i wiped the memory so I cannot download VZ navigator by following the steps they have on the VZW website. What can I do to download it?

Well the seller says that the phone is ready for activation so im assuming that the ESN is clear. But can you tell me what I should look for that might be wrong with the phone once i recieve it?
