I didn't change it so mine must have shipped to me set to English with Spanish input. I'm so glad I posted the problem here because I was starting to think that everyone using these things was crazy...

Language vs. Input Method settings
I had language set to "English (US)" but I see now that input method was set to "espanol". I guess I'm not sure why you can even set it up like that.
