It is definitely not a handset problem. I am on my 4th 8900 because of this MMS fault and could carry on replacing them forever. There is definitely a problem somwhere with the account configuration...

The 8900 doesn't have a automated locking system at least here in the UK anyway. I had to download auto lock. Settings for this once downloaded are in options.

The problem with using that is ALL outgoing...

The problem with using that is ALL outgoing emails are sent through your gmail account on behalf of you pop address, with that clearly indicated on the email. Not a very professional look.
