8700 much better
I definitely think that the 8700 is way faster than the 7100 series. Faster processor, EDGE speed makes such a difference. Get one and you'll be happy!

EDGE is the best!
I live in Queens and EDGE is strong here. Throughout all of LI I also maintain a good EDGE signal with no interruptions. EGDE is awesome.
