The problem has been fixed. looking on another site, I found that somehow my Data Services were turned OFF, so I switched them back ON.

Mobile Network Options -> Data Services.

Thanks. I tried that, and when I tried to reconnect, it says "unable to connect, failed to obtain an IP address" :/
