I understand, that is likely the case.
So, now I'm left with encrypted jpg.rem files on the SD card ----- Is there any way to DEcrypt them back to ordinary jpg ?

unfortunately, I do not. I only have the photos on the SD card, now in format : jpg.rem
I do have the original blackberry, though it does not seem to be helping me since it thinks it's a different...

Thanks for the ideas.

The problem I have is that when trying to copy, I still get the message: "Media Card is secured by another device. Unable to access encrypted file."

I'm told this is...
