I think (hope) that is a glitch with .314 and it will be fixed when OS 5 is ready for official release. It does that to mine too, particularly when I 'Delete Prior'. It also keeps the conversations...

Personally I change the VendID from 102 to 999. It doesn't even try to install PTT, and if you run Application Loader, it removes it for you.
