Goodbye, BlackBerry

Haven't been around much lately, but thought I'd stop in to say goodbye. On Monday, I'll no longer be a BlackBerry user. I started with a Pearl 8100, then switched to a Bold 9700, and finally to a...

Re: Latest OS 9900 v7.1.0.2283 / 7.1.0.825 (All Languages)

Ha, ha. I laugh every time I hear people say the battery life of the latest release is much better than the previous release. If it actually was that much better incrementally, the battery would be...

Re: BES Initialization hanging at 52%

That sounds like a good way to determine if the problem is with the mailbox. I'll suggest that. Thanks for the idea.

BES Initialization hanging at 52%

My colleague upgraded the OS on his 9900 from 7.1.0.267 to 7.1.0.714. The OS upgrade appeared worked fine with no apparent problems, except that the BES initialization will not complete. It hangs at...

Re: BlueAnt Q2 - can't transfer contacts to 9900

The q2 replaced a q1 which didn't transfer the contacts. I'm not sure how to replace the address book on the phone as I'm using a BES. I'll look into that. Thanks for the suggestion.

Not yet. I've been busy, plus I heard over on crackberry that it has a bunch of older cods than .428 so I didn't feel very motivated to make the time. Oh, and apparently there is no IT policy.
