there are settings that worked for BB 9700 in that post. in fact one friend in pm me that he got it work after saw my link in this forum. unfortunately I haven't get it work yet....

BES is corporate control so I have no idea, I will check with the network admin.

Usually I do shut it down at 11pm and set alarm at 6am to get up, the recently it didn't wake up and fire the alarm...

my bb9700 is less than one year old, battery is about 3 month old. recently the battery life is too short. OS platform:5.1.0.175, app version: 5.0.0.862(1446).

I don't have any application running...

I can hardly use the voice recorder program in my 9700. It starts ok, but when I try to pause it, it just doesn't response and continue recording for more than 10 or 20 seconds! not usable at all.

installed new version(OS: 8900 v5.0.0.1168 EastAsia), it is slower than before, I can feel it. A few applications didn't work anymore, always freeze the BB and has to reboot, for example viigo....

seems my issue is not the same as tsac mentioned actually, I don't have value in the Title fields. now almost all contacts are in the second list, while the name popup is only search the first list....

for filter, gmail's filter is much more powerful and flexible.
