Well, I spoke too soon. Blackberry deleted all of my SMS messages older than 30 days (what a STUPID default setting), and now I need to restore the old backup again.
I deleted the Desktop SYNC...

It worked, it worked, it worked. I don't know how, but it worked (but probably by deleting the Desktop SYNC service book and undeleting it again). Good night.

Can't restore SMS messages
I have successfully transferred almost all information from my Tour to a new 9930 Bold. Phone History, Phone Logs, and SMS Messages did not want to transfer ("dimmed entries are read only" error...
