If you cannot over-right that field and you cannot use the part of Options within the browser your carrier might have done something to lock it in. Maybe an OS upgrade/downgrade will clear that up. ...

I changed mine by opening the Browser, going to the page I want as my start page, and using the Menu key to select Options. I then selected "Use Current", saved my selection, and the change held.
