DM has problems syncing with the 64 bit version of Office 2010. The latest Windows version of DM supposedly fixed it. Don't know if Mac DM 2 works with Mac Office 2011 or not. I am still using 2008...

hmmm. Maybe it doesn't like the Power Mac. I don't have a problem on my MacBook Pro.
Maybe delete DM and reinstall.

What OS are you running on the Mac?? Need to be running OS X 10.5.7 or higher.
