I saw the same thing so I reverted back to POP...

I saw the same thing so I reverted back to POP which is instant. Hopefully google will get this fixed for good soon.

I still am getting gmail and google hosted apps within seconds via IMAP. Check to see if the mail server supports IMAP-IDLE and concurrent connections.

I seen the same here and on gmail. Push is almost instant. Looks like RIM is rolling out the IMAP-IDLE feature across their BIS infrastructure.

And now my gmail IMAP is doing push again on VZW BIS. I guess we need to wait for RIM to officially announce IMAP push before we jump in with both feet.

It seems like RIM is rolling out IMAP-IDLE support piece-meal. About 85% of the time my gmail IMAP email is delivered in almost realtime (within 30 sec). Then other times it takes a full 15 minutes....

I set the Sent Items label on my gmail mailbox...

I set the Sent Items label on my gmail mailbox and sent items from the BB get stored there - good. For those sent emails when replied to and deleted on the BB will stay stored there.

Yep working fine now. I have both gmail and google hosted accounts setup IMAP and push is within 20 sec. from arriving in the inbox.
