I think it is the equivalent of going to any website that triggers the transparent proxy (if you need to log in) and if the login is/was successful it shows you a success page.

There should also be a Wi-Fi Services -> Wi-Fi Hotspot Login bookmark in the browser which is supposed to take care of that, but YMMV.
