Yes, it recognizes it as attached, and sees it as a modem. I actually tried using your script as it's modem script but no dice.

The computer clearly recognizes the device, and tries to dial it....

Make sure in PPP options, it's not set to...

Make sure in PPP options, it's not set to auto-disconnect after 10 minutes.
