I asked and they don't know either :S
I don't know if this could be the reason. but the problem started while I was sending multiple PING!!!'s (like a 100 lol) I was trying to wake them up....

I only have this problem with one of my contacts. I can receive their messages just fine. However their D's never turn into R's when i read them. Also, they cant receive any of my messages.
