ATT won't sell me an upgrade until April 2010 - so how will this comany over turn ATT's policy and sell me the upgrade so cheap?

How does an ATT customer who is not eligible for an upgrade get a good deal on a new 9700?

I am trying to decide between the Bold 9700 and the Storm 2 - ATT won't give me any love for an upgrade....
