Oh yeah. Sorry, it was discussed in the disassembly thread, but a shelf fell on my pearl and though the glass didn't break, my LCD screen is busted.

First, yes I have read the thread about disassembly of my pearl.

But since no one has warned me off I'm going to try and replace the LCD screen on my 8120 with the LCD screen from my old 8100....

I have Microsoft's Streets and Tips 2007 with GPS locator. The GPS device plugs into a USB port. What are the chances that I could use this with my 8100 via the USB port?
