I def. get better battery life with .53 that's for sure. I've been using .53 for a few days now, and so far I have noticed a marked improvement in battery life.

hmm.... that is strange. Hit the BB button on the desktop and click show all and see if its hidden. Also, try going to Options > Mobile Network then hit the BB Button and choose "diagnostics test"...

Google maps thinks my tour is a storm probably because of the os. I can't hit the "buttons" because I have no touch screen. But good news gps is unlocked with vzw at least :)
