Sprint Tour works great in Japan -- for voice and data.

I have found that I need to switch the network setting from "global" to "UMTS" when in Japan to get data to work properly.

Make sure your "beside mode" is turned off. Go to clock then pull up the menu to turn it on/off.

If it's on, the LED is killed no matter what your settings say.
