weath is right, it cannot be done. Chances of a Bold on Verizon is slim until summer 2009. Switch to AT&T (and update the Bold software since the one that comes pre-installed has issues.)

I've got four Bold's. Two on the original AT&T 4.6.0.167 and two on 4.6.0.185. The 167 Bold's are experiencing the SOS issue. 185 doesn't have this issues at all.. Upgrade and you should be fine....

The Bold has been better in sparse coverage areas. I did drop a few times where I've never (because I was on 3G and it failed to handoff to 2g) dropped but I expect that to be resolved very shortly....
