my BB 8700c and placed into the 8310. However, I should tell you that I noticed the sim card has a 'banana' curve to it. It does work in my 8700 though.

it is tagged inside the battery compartment by the serial # as 'Blackberry 8310' above the bar code. Also, 'Wi-Fi' does not appear anywhere within manage connections. Thanks for your replay! ReBell

actually, this phone was my son's and I am not familar with it (I have an 8700c). To answer your question, there appears to be two card slots under the battery. One appears to be exactly the same...

everything seems fine, go to dial out and get the 'emergency calls only'. I can move the card over to an old 8700c and it works fine. phone has never been wet either.
