I use active sync and no more ports to mess with.
Its enabled by default and does a better job of synch.

To use IMAP or pop, you have to log in to outlook.com to enable it.

Link works on 7

there is a path statement that needs to be entered or it will fail to connect, at least that what made it work for me and still functions for my playbook.

I had issues with gmail, aol and Verizon email.

I used outlook.com to pull my emails from them and use active sync on all of my devices since most flavors are not against outlook.com email.

possible the gym WiFi just wont work with BlackBerry

I had to turn off 20/40 network setting here to make it work

most places it would work but a few would not

Automatically upload your new camera pictures can be done if you sync the camera folder.

First, go move all your pics into a new folder, then dont sync the new folder
enable camera sync and done

I can stream for 10 hours on wifi and to BT speaker with the extra capacity battery
