I agree with Pizzle - it most likely is a bad device. If you are set on getting rid of Verizon, at least try one more device from Cingular. (no I do not work for Cingular!) :-)

I changed my timeout to 1 min (away from the 45 sec default) and so far it has fixed it. So maybe the fix is to take it off the default of 45 sec? Anyone else have luck with this idea?
