i have 2 blackberry 8300's on separate accts+BES, dust is a disaster, have had both replaced twice. however the keyboard is so much better than the 8800 where the keys are "connected'.

battery from 7100 CS-1 works perfect in 8700c. Note CS-2 battery is square vs CS-1 which is more round on the edges. CS-2 lasts much longer

I've been using the 8700c since nov on Vodafone. Looks like Blackberry just release 3 new 8700's for UK.

quite right. THe 8700 does NOT have the 2 holes in the back that the cradle fits into in order to support it. This kind of works (i have it and tried it) but definitely not made for 8700 series
