Also , while my track pas was giving trouble , and it didn't pick up my thumb so I had to use a cloth , but this made my phone autoboot everytime I tried using the track pad

Or just wipe your phone -make sure to delete user apps- and try again. Don't forget to back up on blackberry protect

Well , atleast one problem was solved --- the missing browser icon means the OS has corrupted files , so re-installing the OS could work
