Check back through their more recent hardware releases, they always increment the version number, so 4.1 showing up is ot be expected, whether it makes it out for other devices is another matter...

It'll be interesting for the sake of trying a new toy, but it won't get really interesting till a later gen product that supports wifi and gprs. I wonder if it will use the 7290 or 7230 form factor.

Personally, I still prefer the 72xx form factor since i use email more than the phone, but for your needs you'd be mad not to go for a 7100.
