I feeli like the SMS editor has been updated in this one. Previously using 348 I think and using alt-backspace to do a forward delete used to erase the whole message...which was pretty frustrating. ...

Entering recipient via email address instead of name.

I feel like on earlier OS's (say prior to 4.5? at least) when I was typing in the To: field, it would search both contact's names and email addresses.

Now it's just contact names.

but I use that other method that focus was talking about - I always send a picture via email, rather than attach pictures to email. But I usually just send 1 picture in an email (to flickr)...doing...

i love the fortte case.

I bought one a couple years back for my 8700. The 8300 fit in the case okay, but this 8900 was too thin.

So I bought another fortte case for the 8900 - same mode, vertical with the snap lock...

I don't use the browser much in my day to day usage of my blackberry so I'm not as concerned with "internet speed" (mainly why I didn't do a Bold upgrade and got the 8900 with 3.2 mp camera).

Did the upgrade last night. Every now and then, my camera gets stuck on a particular zoom and doesn't allow me to change zooms. Battery reset fixes it. So would a OS upgrade, so I went that route....

isn't so bad. My email got the "call us" response. I called this morning. Was told I'd have the code SMS'd to me by 8/20. But I got the email with the code this afternoon. Pretty easy.
